A perfect place for a short break — or a longer holiday

2 Stonework Cottages in Rye Harbour is a cosy, comfortable 2-bedroom Victorian terraced cottage situated on the edge of the Rye Harbour nature reserve. The cottage is well-equipped and accommodates 4 people comfortably.

The cottage is perfectly situated to explore this diverse, interesting and beautiful part of Britain. Whether you are interested in history, sitting on a beach, walking, cycling, birdwatching, watersports, art and crafts, antiques, or just finding a nice pub for dinner, our area has something for you.

And while the ancient town of Rye is only 2 miles away, you’ll find our prices considerably less than the cost of renting a cottage there.

What people say

The feedback we get shows that people enjoy both the comfortableness of the cottage and the wide variety of places to visit.

This is what one family wrote: “We very much enjoyed our stay at your cottage. The fresh flowers and biscuits were a nice welcome and everything was just as we might have hoped.

Beds were comfy, everything spick and span and the cottage well equipped. We would certainly revisit and hope to be back soon. Thank you.”

About us

We’re Katy and Richard, and we own 2 Stonework Cottages.

Katy grew up in Rye Harbour from the age of 8 so we bought the cottage in order to maintain our links with the area. She still has family in the area, who help with cleaning and making the cottage a welcoming place for new arrivals.

We’re keen bird watchers so love visiting our neighbouring nature reserve and the other interesting places for birds in the local area.
